Translhextion
From SMWiki
Introduction
Translhexion is a Hex editor for Windows created by januschan.
As any hex editor, translhexion can be used to modify rom adresses, but it can also be used to find free space in your rom or to start coding your own rom from scratch.
Layout
When opening a rom, Translhexion will display several lines of hex codes, each couple of numbers is one bite. The first of every line column tells you the adress of the bite in the next column, any other bite has the same adress number as the one on it's left +1. Each line has 1A (26) bites.
To the inexpierecenced it may look like a bunch of random numbers and leters, however, you can know what these mean by checking the rom adress section in SMW Central
