The Second Reality Project is created by FPI in 2002. It is a vanilla hack, unlike later entries in the TSRP series.

Story
Princess Peach has once again been kidnapped by Bowser, who has discovered the Second Reality and is using it to develop a new airship fleet in a plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. It is up to Mario to stop him and save the princess.
Trivia
- In 2004, FPI had created an "SNES Version" of this hack, reworking the difficulty of the game to be much more forgiving.
- The Second Reality Project Reloaded is a remake of this hack, offering updated graphics, new content, custom music, and rebalanced difficulty.
