Character Cards
Character Card 1
Solve Toadsworth's trouble in Quicksand Quandary, and he'll give you a hint to follow. Trek through the hidden area. The card is at the end and is guarded by a locked door. The key is somewhere in that area.
Character Card 2
Deserted's keyhole leads to this card.
Character Card 3
Clear Water Springs's keyhole leads to this card.
Character Card 4
Need: Final level completed
After beating the game, find the note in the Chateau D'Or to recieve this card.
Character Card 5
Solve Francine's trouble in Cretins' Cove to find this card. You must be at least Super Mario to find the gift for Professor Frankly. Hit the Triangle Block to the right of the starting point, proceed to the right, and break the Rotating Blocks leading to an enclosed area. Use either a Koopa or Buzzy Beetle shell to hit another Rotating Block, revealing a P-Switch. Take it to the group of four Empty Blocks and run up the wall to find an upper area that contains the gift. Bring it back to Francine to receive the card.
Character Card 6
Need: Truth Orb (see below)
Enter the middle door in Frankly's Villa once you have the Truth Orb to receive this card.
Character Card 7
Quit Bugging Me!'s keyhole leads to this card.
Character Card 8
Projectile Peril's secret Star Block leads to an area called Bub-ulbs' Garden. Talk to one of the Bub-ulbs here who indicates a pipe in a palace, then return to the Chateau D'Or and enter the yellow pipe on the far right to find an area that leads to the card.
Character Card 9
Need: Ghost Potion (see below)
Get the Ghost Potion and then talk to Lady Bow at the Euphoria Festival to uncover this card's location.
Character Card 10
Need: Truth Orb (see below)
In Chill Cavern's starting area, jump on top of the ? Block and climb over the ceiling to find the card.
Character Card 11
Beat the bonus level Fawful's Funhouse to find this card.
Character Card 12
This is the "mystery item" for sale in Syrup's Ship Shop. Get here through Mario Becomes Lunch's keyhole exit.
Character Card 13
Need: Final level completed
Beat the game to unlock the final bonus level. Buy a key and bring it to this level, using it to unlock the chest lying in an upper detour.
Character Card 14
Need: Truth Orb and Final level completed (see below)
In the area unlocked through Bite The Bullet's secret Star Block, talk to Lord Boo once you have beaten the game to receive this card.
Character Card 15
Need: Final level completed
Beat the game to unlock the final bonus level. Complete this level to get the 15th card.
Easter Eggs
Easter Egg 1
In the bonus level Fawful's Funhouse, after flipping the room the first time, head to the right and bounce upward on the trampoline in its initial location.
Easter Egg 2
In Slipslide Mountain, jump on top of the Triangle Switch in the cave area to reveal a series of hidden coin blocks. Climb the blocks to reach a pipe with a Piranha Plant in it. Enter this pipe to find the Easter Egg.
Easter Egg 3
In On The Rocks, when you enter the second area, immediately jump on top of the pipe you come out of and jump against the left wall to reveal a Note Block. Use this block to bounce into the air and find the Easter Egg.
Easter Egg 4
In the final level, answer "Bacon" to the final quiz question to be shown the Easter Egg.
Power-ups
Fighter's Glove
This item is bought at Syrup's Ship Shop. Mario Becomes Lunch's keyhole exit leads here.
Truth Orb
Get the keyhole exit in Slippery Fitness to unlock an area containing the Truth Orb.
Ghost Potion
Sun Of A Gun's secret Star Block leads to an area where you can find this power-up.
Frost Ring
Need: Truth Orb (see above)
In Slippery Fitness, jump on the first platform and let it swing down and carry you to the left. Jump to the left to find a pipe leading to the Frost Ring.
Sand Ring
Need: Truth Orb (see above)
In Oasis Retreat, trek to the left of the starting area to find a pipe leading to the Sand Ring.
