Koopa Paratroopa

General Information
Paratroopas were introduced in the original Super Mario Bros. They came back in the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros, too, (know in America as The Lost Levels). Super Mario Bros. 3 has them once again, and the introduction of ParaGoombas, which have wings as well. Through there is a Para-Goomba in SMW, it falls from a parachute instead of having wings. Winged Goombas are the equivalent of SMB3 Para-Goombas.
Like the Koopas themselves, they come in different varieties.
- There are two types of Green Paratroopa. One flies continuously to the left unless it makes contact with another sprite. The other jumps; its Y-position in Lunar Magic determines how high it goes. The low-jumping Paratroopa is a holdover from previous Mario games; the other two varieties are new. In previous Mario games, flying green Paratroopas flew back and forth horizontally instead.
- There are also two types of Red Paratroopa: the one from previous Mario games that flies up and down, and the "new" red Paratroopa that does what green Paratroopas did in older Mario games: flies back and forth.
- There are no blue Paratroopas.
- Yellow Paratroopas, which appeared only in two Special Zone levels, can't fly. Instead, they act like yellow Beach Koopas in that they jump over incoming shells.

- The wings are stored at GFX00 and GFX01 and use Palette B
- Paratroopas don't change color when Level 125 is passed.

- 9: Green bouncing Paratroopa
- A: Red vertical flying Paratroopa
- B: Red horizontal flying Paratroopa
- C: Yellow Paratroopa
